Reclaim. Renew. Rise
A healing retreat for people affected by breast cancer. Cultivating connection, renewal, and self care.
Santa Cruz, CA Oct 22nd-25th 2026
RISE is a deeply supportive healing retreat for people affected by breast cancer — a place to rest, be witnessed, and remember who you are beyond diagnosis, treatment, and survival. Together in community, we move, cry, laugh, rage, breathe, and reconnect to the parts of ourselves that may have been lost along the way.
What is the Rise Retreat?
Rise is a sacred, small-group retreat designed for those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer — whether you are in active treatment, post-surgery, in remission, or navigating the long “after” that no one really prepares you for.
This retreat is not about “fixing” you. It’s about:
Softening your nervous system after months or years of being in survival mode
Making space for grief, anger, fear, and relief
Reclaiming pleasure, joy, and connection to your body
Allowing yourself to be deeply cared for — without having to hold everything together for everyone else
You’ll be held in a nurturing environment where rest, community, and embodied healing are at the center of everything we do.

What Women Are Saying About Rise
Michelle Bradley
I have been working in the field of health and wellness as an exercise physiologist and health coach for over 20 years. I teach yoga, meditation, and breath work. I’m inspired by the opportunity to meet unique needs of my clients. We joyfully work together to integrate the mind body connection and guide each session with authenticity, embracing a healthy lifestyle and living with vitality.
My personal journey with breast cancer was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but looking back I can also see all the amazing gifts that came my way. I learned to trust, to feel, to let go and to appreciate how miraculous life can be.
Hosting this retreat is an expression of love and a desire to connect with those who understand and want to feel authentically, play with abandon and savor all that life has to offer. So let’s Rise!

Hannah Brame
I’m a registered nurse, dedicated mother and passionate community connector in Santa Cruz, CA. I combine my medical expertise with deep commitment to holistic wellness, fostering community and empowering others on their health journeys.
When I’m not working as a nurse or caring for my family, I am an integral part of an amazing community group I co-created with some dear friends called Vita Collective. Together, we host monthly women’s gatherings, workshops, talks and retreat, all designed to foster connection, growth and well-being. With a deep passion for bringing women together, I thrive as a connector, curating spaces where holistic health, wellness and self care take center state.
In March 2023, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer (ductal carcinoma) and discovered I carry the BRCA1 genetic mutation. the journey that followed was nothing short of intense - chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and a deep commitment to holistic healing. It’s been a transformative few year, filled with challenges, growth, and unwavering support. Today I am beyond grateful to say: I am cancer free. This experience has shaped me in ways I never imagined and I carry forward a renewed sense of purpose, gratitude and dedication to wellness.
Dr. Kallie Harrison
I am a multi-disciplinary healer and space holder with more than 20 years of experience spanning acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nursing, massage therapy, and psychedelic integration work. My practice blends Eastern medicine, Western clinical knowledge, somatic release, energy work, and trauma-informed emotional processing to support whole-person transformation.
For the past four years, I’ve been devoted to the study and embodiment of Tantra and the ISTA lineage. This path has reshaped the way I live, love, and lead—teaching me how to hold deep emotional containers, work with shadow material, and guide others into the truth of their bodies and their desires.
My personal healing journey is woven into all that I teach. In 2022, I was diagnosed with DCIS, which led me to choose a double mastectomy and live proudly flat. This initiation cracked me open to a deeper truth: healing is not just physical—it is spiritual, emotional, wild, messy, sacred, and fully embodied. My scars became part of my medicine. Today, I advocate for body sovereignty, the normalization of going flat, and empowering women to choose what feels right for them—not what society prescribes.
I believe in the cyclical nature of womanhood—the seasons of expansion, contraction, shedding, rebirth, intuition, rage, softness, and power. My intention at Rise Retreat 2026 is to help every woman remember her wholeness, reconnect with her inner wisdom, and reclaim the parts of herself she was never meant to abandon.
